Devices that conduct electricity are called cables. Cables consist of two basic elements: conductor and insulator. While the conductive part is the part through which electrons pass and create electric current, the insulating part is the plastic building material that surrounds the conductive wire to ensure the safety of the flowing electricity. Thanks to this insulating material, cables are not affected by atmospheric events and provide protection against chemical effects, water, humidity and weather conditions in the places where they are laid.
